The More the Merrier
Enska húsið is ideal for families and/or groups with an interest in outdoor activities. However, should weather demand, the lodge is perfectly spacious enough to accommodate most inside functions comfortably and without feeling cramped.
The lodge features one Primary Suite, three Deluxe Rooms, and three Standard Rooms. The rooms are all beautifully designed, fully equipped and furnished. All rooms have en-suite bathroom and uninterrupted views of the surrounding landscape.
Our state of the art kitchen and dining area should easily host over 20 guests and is available with or without catering. After dinner, coffee and dessert can be enjoyed in the comfy fireplace lounge and adjacent cognac lounge.
On the large wooden deck outside you will find a top of the line grill station, a brand new hot tub, cold tub and an 8 seater dry sauna cabin overlooking the Langá River.
In addition to the seven bedrooms on the ground floor, two shared bedrooms (two single beds pr. room) are located up in the Loft along along with a single shared bathroom (bathtub fitted w. a handheld shower head).
A comfy leisure lounge (TV/Game Room) is also located in the Loft.

Deluxe rooms are slightly spacier. All rooms feature an en-suite bathroom and an uninterrupted nature view.
The Loft
Two shared bedrooms and a single shared bathroom with a bathtub, accommodating four people.
Psst, a secret leisure room with a high res TV and a PlayStation is said to be hidden in the loft.

We’ve done our utmost to make sure that you have everything you need in preparing a hearty breakfast, a blow-out brunch or a gourmet feast for up to 24 persons.
All appliances are top of the line and brand new, e.g. a large AGA oven, double fridge, freezer and a professional espresso maker.
The lodge can be rented with or without catering.
Our resident caterer is an accomplished chef and member of Iceland’s National Culinary Team.
The lodge is also available with a trained butler and/or daily room service.

The Dining Room table sits up to 12 persons. In the adjacent study, up to 8 people can comfortably enjoy a sit down dinner.

The bar is fitted with a brand new wine cooler, beverage refrigerators and an ice machine.
Sauna
Unwind in a sauna cabin with a view
Reward yourself after a long and invigorating day of activities with a hot and steamy relaxation in our state of the art sauna cabin overlooking the Langá River, and beyond the Atlantic Ocean.
The sauna can easily seat up to 8 people. On the deck outside the sauna cabin, we have fitted a hot tub and a cold tub filled with Icelandic spring water. We dare you. We double-dare you.
